With reference to the late Lord Lloyd's

despatch No. 5 of 7th January, 1941, I have the honour

to inform Your Lordship that I have appointed Mr. John

Johnstone Paterson to be an unofficial member of

Executive Council for a further term of five years with

effect from 6th April, 1941.

A copy of the instrument appointing Mr. Paterson

is enclosed.

In accordance with Colonial Regulation No. 155
